RESTAURANTS Round Hill enchants guests and tempts palates with an abundance of dining pleasures. Our James Beard award-winning Executive Chef, Martin Maginley, and his talented team showcase the finest local ingredients in a variety of custom-crafted dishes inspired by Jamaica's bounty and the cultural influences that continually evolve the palate of this region. Recognized with Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence” in 2014, Round Hill’s impressive and eclectic wine list compliments the modern Caribbean cuisine featured throughout our dining venues.

 

THE GRILL The Grill is our rooftop restaurant located above the bar and terrace, offering panoramic, seaside views and ocean breezes. The décor is in keeping with our classic aesthetic of relaxed luxury. The simplistic, whitewashed décor is accented with black and white wood cut prints by Jamaican artist, Albert Huie, adding a touch of historic perspective to the dining experience. The Grill features the only indoor, wood-fired grill on island, using local, indigenous logwood. The wood imparts a touch of smoky richness and is used in a mixture of torched wood for earthy flavour and sweet wood to round out the finish. The open kitchen allows guests a glimpse of the busy chefs as they prepare the evening’s meal. The Modern Caribbean theme of the resort’s cuisine at The Grill is simple, locally produced (where possible) and sustainable. The focus remains on sustainably-grown, humane and organic products. Much of the produce is sourced from the surrounding area or our very own organic garden.

 

THE RESTAURANT AT ROUND HILL Chef Maginley and his talented culinary team will showcase the finest and freshest Jamaican ingredients, including organic herbs and vegetables grown on the resort’s on-property organic garden as well as the best of the island’s bounty procured from local farmers. Featuring set daily menus as well as a vegetarian menu, diners will be treated to an exciting array of delicacies including Grilled Tuna Fillet with Caribbean Sofrito, Crispy Local Pear and Cilantro Lime Crema, Lemongrass Caribbean Lobster Bisque, Beef Wellington of Short Rib with Sauteed Pole Beans and Natural Caramelized Au Jus and mouth-watering desserts such as Pineapple Tarte Tatin served with the chef’s signature Scotch Bonnet Ice Cream.

SEASIDE TERRACE Enjoy one of themed buffet dinners under the stars on the Seaside Terrace. The a la carte menu is also available.

BARS Midday, venture to the Seaside Terrace or the Beach or Pool Bar for an informal yet delectable lunch . Wash it down with a Red Stripe or a Rum Punch and settle back into your beach chaise for a heavenly nap. Afternoon Tea is served in the lounge, and showcases traditional finger foods such as cucumber sandwiches, fresh fruit and an array of fine desserts. Evenings at Round Hill are an occasion to dress in casual, elegant island fashion and truly enjoy your nightly dining experience. The dimly lit Cocktail Bar affords the prime spot for a pre-dinner cocktail and to watch the golden sun set over calm waters. Offering signature hand-crafted cocktails, wines by the glass and an elegant appetizer bar menu, the ambiance is enhanced with an array of black and white photos of years past and the beautiful sounds of the piano.

THE SPA AT ROUND HILL A beachfront paradise of sublime relaxation and true indulgence, the Spa at Round Hill invites you away to let go, and just be. PINEAPPLE KIDS CLUB Our children's programs offer fun-filled opportunities to be active, creative, adventurous and imaginative, all while under the supervision and guidance of our highly trained and well-loved staff. Catering to both young children and teens, our Pineapple Kids Club and 7-Up Club boast fun and interactive activities that can be enjoyed as a group or during solo play. Daily programs ensure each child has the opportunity to express their creativity and explore.
