Its 12 rooms and the Sand Dollar Cottage are set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes, fronting on the beach. Some of the privately owned homes that share the island are also available for rent. Pine Cay is a secluded 800-acre privately owned island. The only resort on the island, the Meridian Club is beautifully positioned on a two-mile stretch of talcum-powder beach, considered by many as the finest in the Caribbean.

Since there are purposely no automobiles, televisions, radios and ringing telephones at the Meridian Club, you are left to enjoy the island's natural beauty and tranquility. The surrounding waters teem with marine life. Underwater visibility often exceeds 100 feet, and there are miles of coral gardens within a five minute boat ride. Ashore, Pine Cay remains a pristine natural haven with vast open space and seven freshwater ponds, a perfect habitat for the abundant local fauna and flora.

LOCATION
The Meridian Club is a private island on Pine Cay which is a boat ride from Providenciales.

GETTING THERE
Fly into Providenciales Internation Airport (PLS), the most populous island in the Turks & Caicos. It is service by many major airlines. From the airport it is a 20 minute taxi ride to the dock. The Meridian Club boat will take you from there to Pine Cay. Transfers are complimentary to guests at the Resort. Guests renting a private home must pay for their own transfers.

PRIVATE RENTAL HOMES
1 - 4 Bedrooms
Some of the island's privately owned homes are available for weekly rentals, with or without a meal plan. Some overlook the beach, while others have breathtaking island views. Recommended only for those able to enjoy a more independent island experience.

The homes range from modern luxury to those more in keeping with the casual island lifestyle, each with its own distinctive appeal.

DRESS
Dress is casual and shoes are optional, even at dinner. Bathing suits with cover-ups or sport clothes are the norm at lunch. Informal summer evening clothes for ladies, and sport shirts, slacks and even shorts for men, are perfect for dinner.

DINING
Ocean view dining, candlelight dinners, poolside barbecues, deserted island picnics.

Begin your morning with freshly brewed coffee, fresh-baked pastries and breakfast on your screened porch, or join other guests for breakfast at outdoor tables on the pool terrace. • Later have a light buffet lunch. Picnic lunches can be prepared upon request. • There's afternoon tea and biscuits (cookies) by English tradition.• Drinks are available throughout the day at the downstairs bar or poolside • Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the upstairs bar between 6 and 7:30pm. • Dinner by candlelight follows in the open-air dining room or out under the stars if you choose. • Desserts are a specialty item at The Meridian Club • Coffee and cordials are available after your meal.

Once or twice a week there is a poolside BBQ buffet

SPA SERVICES Full time spa specialist on staff who is experienced in all spa techniques, including massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, etc. Hair plaiting can also be arranged.

CHILDREN
Children 12 and older are always welcome in the hotel with their parents. Children under 12 are allowed during our "Family Months" of June and July, and over the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Rules regarding ages of children allowed in private rental homes vary (please consult "Private Rental Home" page for details.)

Please be aware that children and grandchildren of the island's private homeowners may occasionally be present, particularly during school vacation periods.

COMMISSARY
Open Monday – Saturday, one hour per day. There is a limited supply of groceries, including fresh vegetables, meat, fish, dairy products, and snacks. Liquor and wines are available as well as a few over-the-counter pharmaceuticals and suntan lotions.
