Pine Cay is a secluded 800 acre privately owned island positioned on a 2 mile stretch of talcum powder beach. Its 12 rooms and the Sand Dollar Cottage are set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes, fronting on the beach. Some of the privately owned homes that share the island are also available for rent.

A telephone is available in the office for emergencies and you may use your cell phone (or rent one) in your room or certain other areas away from the hotel provided it does not disturb other guests. Beach Front Club Rooms
Club Rooms areset among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes. Step right off the porch and be in the water in less than a minute.

Each looks out on to the pristine two-mile-long beach. Spacious and suite-like, with separate bedrooms and lounging alcove and screened-in porches overlooking the sea. The breeze from ceiling fans joins the gentle trade winds flowing through large windows and patio doors. No air-conditioning necessary.

Simply furnished in a tropical decor, each contains one king or two twin beds, lots of pillows, and a small library of books for your reading pleasure. Large bathroom with a shower and a dressing area.

The screened-in porch has a table, chairs and ever-changing sea views. Just beyond, the outdoor patio has an outdoor shower enclosed with bamboo walls.

Sand Dollar Cottage

Sand Dollar Cottage is the ideal choice for honeymooners and others seeking ultimate seclusion and natural tranquility. It is located a distance from the resort's other rooms and sits only steps from the beach in a grove of swaying Casuarina pines.

Hexagonal in shape and generous in size, the cottage has a cool and inviting interior with a king bed, a large bathroom and shower, a traditional Caribbean stone floor and a spacious screened-in porch. Soothing breezes are ever-present.

Sea grapes and tropical foliage surround the cottage and, directly in front lies a thatched hut with beach chairs overlooking the sea.

Private Rental Homes

Some of the island's privately owned homes are available for weekly rentals, with or without a meal plan. Some overlook the beach, while others have breathtaking island views. Recommended only for those able to enjoy a more independent island experience.

The homes range from modern luxury to those more in keeping with the casual island lifestyle, each with its own distinctive appeal.
