LOCATION
Galley Bay is located on the sunset side of Antigua, cradled by a 3/4 mile crescent white sand beach and a fascinating saltwater bird sanctuary lagoon.
ACCESS
Antigua's V.C. Bird International Airport is serviced by six airlines including American, American Eagle, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, BWIA, Continental, Air Canada, Condor, and LIAT. The United States requires a passport for entry or re-entry from any traveler returning from the Caribbean islands, including U.S. citizens. There is a $20 departure tax from Antigua. Galley Bay is approximately 20 minutes from the airport.

The boutique property's 98 guest rooms are set amid 40 acres of beautiful tropical gardens, providing a sense of privacy. Most accommodations are tucked into the landscape along the beach, so your next swim is just a few steps across the sand. The distinctive Gauguin cottages, hidden amid the gardens, offer lagoon views and concealed individual plunge pools for private dips.

CHILDREN
Children under age 16 cannot be accommodated except during Christmas/New Years Holiday when infants and children are charged the adult rate in existing bedding.

INDULGE SPA Inspired by the distinctive look of the Gauguin cottages, and centrally located, adjacent to the calming waters of the lagoon and surrounding bird sanctuary. The spacious, multi-level hideaway features three massage areas, two of which are rustic, open-air treatment "pods". The pods are rough-hewn, airy massage decks draped with sheer, white curtains for privacy, and both overlook the bird sanctuary and lagoon. The second, shaded treatment pod is designed to accommodate two massage tables, for romantic his-and-hers treatments. A full range of facials, skincare and therapeutic massage treatments is available.
FITNESS CENTER Free weights and cardio equipment let you keep up your routine in the comfort of the air-conditioned Fitness Center. You can also maintain your aerobic conditioning with a run on the jogging track or along the three-quarter-mile beachfront.

Galley Bay is affiliated with The Mamora Bay Divers Dive Shop, a company of experienced PADI certified divers providing a full service dive shop.
