To preserve the tranquility of the bay motorized water sports are not available off the hotel's beach. However waterskiing and wakeboarding are available in an adjacent bay at additional cost.

Scuba Diving
Carlisle Bay offers a range of daily scuba diving activities with courses suitable for the novice up to the experience diver. Lessons and pool training take place at the resort and the custom built dive bgoat will collect you from the Carlisle Bay jetty for the openwater dives. Cades Reef, a two-mile long underwater park is only 5 minutes away by boat.

There are nine fantastic tennis courts at Carlisle Bay - eight cushioned hard courts and one artificial grass court. Four courts are lit for night play. A fully equipped pro shop is happy to assist and rackets, shoes and a ball machine are complimentary. Professional tuition from the resident pro is available for all ages and standards, either as group lessons or privately.

Challenge matches, round robin doubles and children's tennis are part of the program.

Carlisle Bay is completely child friendly with its safe beach and spacious two-roomed Beach Suites. Smaller guests are mde to feel at home with a weekly activity program and a children's robe and welcome pack on arrival.

Cool Kids Club offers a fully equipped, purpose-built facility for children from six momtjhs to twelve years old. A host of activities is available depending on the age of the child with finge painting, water play, treasure hunts, beach games, art projects, song & dance, junior tennis and swimming.There are also programs for preteens and action-packed teenage programs

Mangrove Carlisle Bay is fortunate to enjoy a beautiful setting offeirng an astonishing amount of natureal wildlife. Set behind the hotel is a mangrove lagoon. This lagoon acts as a spawning ground for many species of salt water fish but it is also a breeding and feeding ground for numerous species of birds. To see this wonderful selection of species in their natural environment, take a kayak and paddle through the mangrove or borrow a pair on binoculars to see what you can spot.
